Explanation:

1. Ashish Kothari is one of the Indian environmentalists who has been doing work on the environment and its issue from his school days. Later he formed an environment NGO called Kalpvriksha which aims at the protection of the environment. He was appointed as co-chair of TILCEPA during 1998-199, worked on river valley project and therefore has been associated with the Beej Bachao Andolan and Narmada Bachao Andolan.

2.  My school planned a trip to Jim Corbett National Park located in Nainital, Uttrakhand. The trip began around 11.00 PM Thursday and reached the Nainital at 5.00 AM. After boarding, we stayed in the hotel and began our trip to the national park at 9.00 AM.

I had little knowledge about the National Park which I studied in the school like the national park is constructed to conserve the flora and fauna in their original habitat and therefore called In situ conservation. Jim Corbett is famous for its conserved flora and Indian Tigers.

The national park was very wide and the scientist present there provided the information related to the tigers and park. He said that the large area provides the animal's mobility.

I learned a lot about the national park from him and after the visit, we returned to the Hotel around 5.30 pm. It was a wonderful day.
