Answer:

1. The solid shape is cone. In a normal cone, the number of faces is one. Now,if we vertically divide that come into two halves. Then there will be two faces in the each halves.

2. Cone and cylinder are the two solid shapes which are when joined together form a new shape that has three faces, two edges and one vertex.

Answer:

Hey mate,

Answer is given below ⬇️

1 . The solid shape is cone.

  • In a normal cone ,no of faces = 1
  • Now if we vertically divide it come into its halves.

So,

  • There will be two bases in each
  • Lateral face and base face .

Now,

Number of faces in one half = 2× number of faces in initial shape .

this fulfills the criteria mentioned in the above question.

therefore, It is a cone.

2.Cone and cylinder are the two solid shapes which are when joined together form a new shape that has three faces, two edges and one vertex.

  • A cylinder is the solid generated by two congruent closed curves in parallel planes together with the surface formed by line segments joining corresponding points of the two curves. A cone is named based on the shape of its base.

Therefore, answer is cone and cylinder.

Hope it helps uh ❣️
