\textbf{Subject :-} Expressing the concern regarding the ill condition of historical monuments.

Respected Sir/Madam,

Through the column of your respected Newspaper, I would like to express my concern regarding the ill condition of historical monuments.

Recently, I was on a tour of India's famous and popular historical sites. After the trip I was a bit shocked as well as disturbed seeing the condition of the historical monuments today. The monuments have turned totally different and aren't magnificent as they were few years ago.

Taj Mahal which signifies the love between Shah Jahan and his wife is now loosing its beauty. The people who think their love is as pure as Shah Jahan and his wife, simply write their names on the walls of monuments. Some of the people even remove the valueable stones from the walls of Taj Mahal. The pollution around is a thing which Taj Mahal is suffering but the tourist in addition litter the place and go which makes the place more dirty. India is known for its Culture and Heritage all around the globe. But we Indians are only destroying the pride of the country. The monuments are not at all maintained. Why can't the people understand that monuments play a very important role in the terms of economy of the country. Some places like Jaipur and Varanasi get raise India's economy of India by tourism. The only way we could stop this is starting it from us. We should not litter the historical sites.

The historical buildings help us to study history, it tells us about the prevailing architechture style of that time period. The historical buildings are so important to us but still we don't care about it, so to preserve our country's culture and heritage, we need to protect the historical buildings.

Yours Sincerely,

Subject - Poor condition of important archaeological and heritage sites.

Sir,

Through the thought provoking columns of your estimable newspaper, I would like to express my views on the poor condition of important archaeological and heritage sites.

India is renowned for its tourist spots. Tourism is an imperative source of foreign currency in our country. Promoting tourism means leading the country into a right path. But unfortunately, the condition of tourists spots is miserable.

Archaeological and historical sites are in such a worse situation. In my vacation, I visited Kutub Minar in Delhi. It is a historical monument but I was shocked to see the state of utter neglect. People who visited the same place, threw their waste and garbage in open. Apart from this, only one dust bin was there which was already full of garbage.

People spit and urinate in such historical places. We are forgetting the importance of these historical places which have an ancient fame. The concerned authority must implement some quick and serious steps so as to prevent such unfavourable condition. Dust bins should also be provided on every spot. Sweepers and cleanliness workers should be appointed on daily basis. Last but not the least, awareness among people is must required so that the practice of saving historical spots would get a huge success.

It is hoped that you would like my views and surely give an adequate space to my letter in your widely circulated newspaper.

Yours sincerely
