Q12 An electric field produced by stationary charge in ∑î system is given

by E = 6 î + 4 ĵ NC-1. Calculate the electric field in frame of reference

moving with velocity (2 î + 7 ĵ ) x 10 ms-1

Q13 Derive and discuss equation of continuity, discussing implication of

steady state condition?

Q14 Charge q is situated at origin of laboratory frame. Magnitude of

electric field as measured in moving frame (due to this charge q) in

same direction as the direction of motion of observer at a distance r’ is

given by

E = q/4 πε0 * (1 - β2) / r’2

Where = v/c and v is velocity of observer as measured in the laboratory

frame. Prove that Gauss’s law is true for the moving charges as well.
