Given :- A started a business with the amount of Rs 40000. After 5 months A withdraws Rs 20000. B invest every month regularly. The ratio of profit between A and B at the end of year is 20 : 78 .

To Find :- How much B invested in each month ?

Answer :-

Let us assume that, B invest Rs. x each month .

so,

→ Investment of A : Investement of B = Profit of A : Profit of B .

→ (40000 * 5 + 20000 * 7) : (x + 2x + 3x + 4x ______ 12x) = 20 : 78

→ (200000 + 140000) : 78x = 20 : 78

→ (340000/78x) = 20/78

→ x = 340000/20

→ x = Rs.17000 (Ans.)
