Firstly, the total cost = 15*9000 = Rs. 1,35,000

Now, chips are 1/3rd of the total OR 1/3rd of 9000 = 3000 kg which she sells at Rs.70 per kg, so selling price = 70*3000 = Rs. 2,10,000

Profit = 2,10,000 - 1,35,000 = Rs. 75,000, well, it could be a great business it seems! :P

Answer࿐

GIVEN:

Arundati takes = 9000 kg

Cost of 1 kg = Rs 50

she dries 1 3rd of total and she sells it at the cost of 80 per kg.

TO FIND:

1 3rd of total

and how much profit she got.

SOLUTION :

she dries = 9,000/3 = 3,000 kg

she sold 1 kg at = 80 per kg

she buy the 3,000 fish = 3,000 * 50 = 1,50,000

cost of 3,000 kg = 3,000 * 80 = 2,40,000

PROFIT SHE HAD = 2,40,000 - 1,50,000 = 90,000

HOPES, IT'S HELPFUL TO YOU SIS. ^_^
