Q16. Salesman A is allowed to 5% commission on sale made by him, plus a bonus
of 2% on the sales over 12000, salesman B is allowed 4% commission on the sale
made by him,plus a bonus of 3% on the sales over 8000.if the commission of both
salesman is 25% of total sale. Find out the total sales?​

Let total sales be x.

Hence,

5% of x=1450

$= > \frac{5}{100} \times x = 1450$

$= > x = rs \: 29000$

Hence, 

Excess sale =29000−20000=Rs. 9000

So, his total earning 

$= > 1\%of \: 9000 = \frac{9000}{100} = rs.90$
