2x + y = 6            eq.1

3x + 2y = 1          eq.2

lets first find x and y so we can answer the question.

equation 1 *3

and equation 2 * 2

6x + 3y = 18

6x + 4y = 4

subtract the equations

y = -14

put this value in the equation.

6x + 3 * -14  = 18

6x = 18 + 42

6x = 60

x = 10

now put this value in the final question .. . .. ..

y = px + 3

-14 = p * 10 + 3

-17/10 = p

therefore p = -1.7

am i right ???

hey sakna here

2x + y - 6 =0

3x + 2y = 1

3x + 2y - 1 =0

by applying substitution method

x        =    1 - 2y/3

   6      =   2(1-2y/3) + y

    18    =   2-4y + 3y

    18    =    2-y

     18-2= -y

    -16     =   y

x             =      1-2y/3

              =   1-2(-16)/3

              =    1+32/3

               =  33/3

               = 11

let the condition be

y            =  px+3

-16         =  p(11) + 3

-16-3      =  11p

-19          = 11p

p             =   -19/11
