Q199) A metallic cuboid of dimension 9cm x 11cm x
12cm is melted and recasted into spherical
balls of diameter 0.3cm. The number of balls
will be:
1) 84000

dimension of the cuboid is (9cm×11cm×12cm)

therefore.,

volume of the cuboid=(9×11×12)cm³

now...

according to the problem this cuboid is melted to form ' n ' number ofspherical balls with diameter(d)=0.3cm

now the volume of each spherical ball is

=πd²

=(22×0.3²/7)

therefore the number of balls is

 =  > n =  \frac{11 \times 12  \times 9}{22 \times 0.3 {}^{2}  \times  \frac{1}{7} }  \\  =  \frac{7 \times 11 \times 9 \times 12}{22 \times 0.3 {}^{2} }  \\  = 4200 \: pcs
