Answer:a. Element: An element is the pure substance which consists of only one type of atom. It can not be sub-divided by physical or chemical mothords. Example are Gold, oxygen, silver etc.

b. Compound: A compound is a pure substance that consists of two or more elements chemically combined in a fixed proportion by mass. They have properties different from component element and it can not be sub-divided. Example are Water, Carbon dioxide, Table salt etc.

c. Mixture: A mixture results from the combination of two or more elements or compounds or both that do not react chemically. It can be sub-divided. Example are sugar water solution, water sand mixture etc.
