In 1804,he crowned himself Emperor of France.he set out to compete neighbouring European countries and become a terror for all European monarch. he introduced many modern laws like the protection of private property, a uniform system of weights and measure provided by the decimal system and others.

Finally, in 1815, Napoleon was defeated by the European allies at Waterloo.
