Perimeter of a parallelogram = sum of its sides

as opposite sides are equal in a parallelogram , perimeter would be equal to 2(side1+ side2)

= 2(3Y + 4Y) = 140

= 7Y = 140 × 2

= Y = 280/7 = 40cm
