(1) The candle will burn most smoothly in the presence of oxygen as it is necessary for burning and combustion.

(2) It's flames will bece weak as the supply of oxygen is weak and oxygen is not coming properly.

(3) The candle will stop burning as the it is covered from all the sides it's oxygen supply is cut and hence, it will stop burning.

(4) The necessary conditions for combustion are :

  • Low ignition temperature
  • Supply of oxygen
  • Combustible material
