1. 3(x=2) 2 (x-1) = 7
3(x=2) - 2 (x-1) = 7
3x + 6 - 2x + 2 = 7
x + 8 = 7
x = 7 - 8
x = -1
2. x-3/5-2= 2x/5
x - 3/5 - 10/5 = 2x/5
x - 13/5 ÷ 2x/5
- 13 × 5/5 = 2x - x
- 65/5 = x
x = - 13

Given,
- 3(x+2)−2(x−1)=7
⇒3x+6−2x+2=7
⇒x+8=7
Subtract 8 on both sides,
x+8−8=7−8
⇒x=−1
Given,
- 2x−5=3(x−5)
⇒2x−5=3x−15.
Transpose x terms on one side, we get
⇒3x−2x=−5+15
⇒x=10.
Therefore, value of x is 10.
