Dhamma is a set of edicts that formed a policy of the Mauryan emperor Ashoka. Ashoka’s dhamma was neither a new religion nor a new political philosophy. Q3 answer-He spread the doctrines of Buddha by engraving them on rocks, pillars and on the walls of the caves throughout the vast empire. Ashoka appointed officers called Dharma Mahamatras, Yuktas and Rajjukas to spread Dharma among the people.
