Torrid zone;

the zone that lies between the tropic of cancer and the tropic of Capricorn. it receives maximum heat and light from the sun as it divides the earth into half. it is also known as the tropical zone

Temperate zone;

this zone lies between the arctic circle and the tropic of cancer in the northern hemisphere. it lies between the antarctic circle and the tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere the place near this zone are neither very hot nor very cold.

Frigid zone;

the zone lies between arctic circle and the north pole in the northern hemisphere . it also lies between the antarctic circle and  the south pole in the southern hemisphere the sun does not rise above the horizon and the rays of the sun are slanting at the poles.

Explanation:

Heat zones are the different zones of the earth, where the sun's rays fall differently, thus causing different climate patterns. These zones are called the Torrid Zone, the two Temperate Zones, and the two Frigid Zones. The Temperate Zones maintain a moderate climate, and the Frigid Zones are extremely cold.
