There are several steps taken globally for promoting democracy, and some of the steps are provided below.

•    It is in the interest of people to establish and maintain the democracy themselves. Wherever monarchy or any other form of government is ruling, the population of the country have started fighting for the democracy.
•    We have seen recent incidences in various countries including Egypt. Revolutionary beginning in Egypt has begun.
•    We have also noted that in Hong Kong people even younger generation often take part in the demonstration.
•    UN also help in establishing democracies to people if they seek the help
•    Developed countries encourage democracies by helping to provide the monetary and other support to developing and other countries.
•    We need to strengthen UN and to make it stronger so that it can save and promote democracy throughout the globe.
