a) In schottky defect an equal number of cations and anions are missing from the interstitial sites and form vacancy or hole. And missing of thsese cations and anions leads to the lowering of density.

b) Glass is called supercooled liquid because glass is an amorphous solid. Amorphous solids have the tendency to flow but, slowly. I doest not form a crystalline solid structure as particles in solids do not move but here it moves. Hence it is called a supercooled liquid.

c) Anti-ferromagnetism is observed when the magnetic moments are oppositely aligned and cancel out each other.

d) The defect is known cation vacancy defect as a Ag+ ion from the lattice is absent due to the presence of adjacent Cd+2 ion.

e)Metallic solids are electrical conductors, malleable and ductile in nature.
