Answer:

Answer - 4 first , find how much distance does the bus travel in 15 minutes , that is 10 kms

And then find the distance travelled in 1 hour , that is , 60/15 = 4

4 × 10 kms

= 40 km/h

Answer - 5 distance between two towns = 240 kms

Speed of car = 60 km/h

Time taken by car to reach the second town = speed / distance

= 240/60

= 4 hours

distance = 30 km

speed = speed

time = 45 minutes ( convert the minutes into hours ) = 45÷ 60 = 3 /4 hrs

speed = distance ÷time

speed = 30 ÷ 3/4

= 30×4/3 = 40 km/hr
