Let's assume that there were x number of students present in the school

Now according to the question

x*x=230400

x²=230400

x=230400

x=480 paisa

x= Rs4.8

= Rs4.8So, each student paid Rs 4.8 and there were 480 number of students.

Let the number of students in the school be y .

Collected money =y

total \: money \:  = y \times y = y {}^{2}

given \: that \: y {}^{2}  = 2304

Using Prime Factorisation

2 \times 2 \: 2 \times 2 \: 2 \times 2 \: 2 \times 2 \: 2 \times  \div  \: square \: root \: of \: 2304

2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times  3 = 48

The number of students in school = 48
