  • The story "I want something in the cage" is written by the famous author Leland Exton Modesitt Jr. In the story, he wrote about Mr.Purcell who owned a pet shop and used to sell both birds and mammals including fish foods and bird seeds.
  • The customer wanted to buy birds that were caged by the pet shop owner. He wanted to buy those birds so that he could free them and let them lead an independent life.

  • Maya thought that Mr.Nath was a crook because she had observed that he had no friends and doesn't even talk to anyone. So, she jumped to the conclusion that he was the crook as she never noticed him socializing with anyone.
