a. 2-2x=6-2

2+2-6=2x

4-6=2x

-2=2x

x=-1.

b. 6-6(x-3)=0

6-6x+18=0

-6x+24=0

-6x=-24

x=4

c. 3x+4=5

3x=5-4

3x=1

x=1/3

d. 2x+3=16

2x=16-3

2x=13

x=13/2

e. 2(x-1)=3(x-2)

2x-2=3x-6

-2+6=3x-2x

4=x

x=4.

Step-by-step explanation:

a) 2-2x=6-2

2-2x = 4

-2x = 4-2

-2x = 2

x = -2/2

x =-1

b) 6-6 (x-3) =0

0 (x-3) =0

x-0=0

x=0

c) 3x+4 = 5(x-2)

3x +4 = 5x - 10

3x - 5x = -10 -4

-2x= -14

x = -14/-2

x = +7

d) 2x + 3 = 16 - (2x-3)

2x+3 = 16 -2x +3

2x+ 3 = -2x +19

2x + 2x = 19-3

4x = 16

x= 16/4

x = 4

e) 2 (x-1) = 3 (x-2)

2x -2 = 3x - 6

2x - 3x= -6+2

-x = -4

x = +4
