(a) Neurons are often long and wire like.

  • Neuron cells are the cells which transfers message in electronic form and are present in the brain.
  • So for the ease of transfers, they are shaped like that.

(b) Alveoli in lungs have thin membrane.

  • Alveoli are thinned as they are present in the lungs  as they are helpful for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
  • Their thin membrane helps in doing the same.

(c) Plasma membrane plays an important role in generating immune responses.

  • These membranes cover the whole cell part.
  • So any foreign material entering can be easily detected by them and immediate immune response can be generated.

(d) Nucleus occupies a peripheral position in mature plants cells.

  • Nucleus in the mature plant is present in peripheral position, as they are located inside the chyma cell.
  • So they occupy the same.
