{ the number of books(x) * the amount of each(11 dollar) }+ {the number of pens (y) * the amount of each (7 dollar)}

equation= (x*11)+(y*7)

b) x=50 and y=26. If we put them in equation

Then, (50*11)+(26*7)

=550+182

=732 dollars.
