GIven length of the room = 15m.

Given breadth of the room = 9m.

We know that Area = length * breadth

                                 = 15 * 9

                                 = 135m^2.

Given breadth of the room = 75cm

                                              = 75/100m

                                              = 3/4m.

Length of the carpet required to carpet the room = 135/(3/4)

                                                                                    = 135 * 4/3

                                                                                    = 180.

Given that rate of carpet = 10 per metre.

Therefore cost of carpeting the room = 180 * 10

                                                                = 1800.

Hope this helps!
