Sub: Resentment on certain decisions taken by Development Authority.
Dear Sir,
I am a resident of Ram Nagar, Bhopal. I am writing to you on behalf of many citizens stating the concern and our resentment on certain decisions being taken by Development Authority, Bhopal.
We have gone through the write-up on the green belt that is being converted into a residential area. For your reference, the write-up was published on 30th May 2019, on page 4 of the newspaper.
We want you to know that the 80-acre land stated is one of the best-rated lands in terms of quality and good soil. We, citizens keep passing through the land and we have always been very proud of the rich heritage and the care that the government is taking on the land. It is a source of quality health to all the living beings around. These green belts are one of the best sources of fresh breeze and sufficient pure oxygen for the city.
We are stating out resentment on the decision of the Development Authority to convert such precious lands into residential areas.
We believe that you are one of the most powerful media between the citizens and the authorities. Hence, requesting you to take the necessary action and throw light on the issue.
Thanking you Sir.
Yours Sincerely,
Ram Kumar.

Subject: Consequences of developing residential colony in green belt
Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my resentment and anguish over the Government’s decision to develop a residential colony in the 80-acre plot of land reserved for a garden and green belt near our colony. People of our area are deeply hurt and anguished over Bhopal Development Authority’s this decision.
The green belts are meant for purification of the environment of the area. Everyone knows how highly polluted our city is! Most of the pollution comes from industry, and vehicles. Industry produces air pollution in the form of untreated smoke that has many hazardous gases in it; the industry also discharges thousands of liters of toxic untreated effluents into the river and its tributary. The air and the water of the city have become highly toxic, leading to many health complications.
The construction of the colony will deprive the residents of the proposed park also. Children and elders will have no place to play and to walk. Through the columns of your esteemed daily I appeal to the concerned authorities to rethink their decision. I am hopeful you will give my views enough space in your reputed daily and help in furthering the cause.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Ram Kumar Mishra
