Q4.Solve the following system of equations:
(1) x + 2y + 1 = 0, 2x - 3y = 12
(2) 22 + 3 = 2,5 – 3 = 4
(3) (2u + v) = 7uv, 3(u + 3v) = 11 uv
(4) 2x + y - 3 = 0, 2x - 3y - 7 = 0
(6) 5+5= 12,5-7= 8
(8)*+<= a + b3 + 3 = 2
3x+y 3x-
y 4 '2(3x+y) 2(3x-y)
(9) x + y = a + b, ax - by = a? – b2
(10) (a + 2b)x+ (2a - b) y = 2, (a - 2b)x + (2a + b)y = 3

1.x+2y+1=0 ------(1). 2x-3y=12------(2)

(1) multiple by 2

2x+4y=-2 -------(3)

equation (3)-(2)

2x+4y=-2

2x-3y=12

-. +. -

---------------

7y=-14

y=-2

put the value of y in equation (1)st

x+(-2)2=-1

x-4=-1

x=-1+4

x=3
