The oxidation state of A, B and C in a compound are +2, +5 and - 2, respectively. The compound is
(A) A2(BC)2 , (B) A2(BC)3, (C) A3 (BC4)2 , (D) A2(BC4)3

(please note the numbers mentioned in the options are lower cased)
(the answer given to this question is option (C), but can someone pls explain how!?)
