The two magnetic field lines do not intersect each other because if they do it means at the point of intersecting the compass needle is showing two different directions which are not possible.

Answer:

Tangent at a point to the magnetic field line gives the direction of the net magnetic field at that point. If the magnetic field lines intersect, there will be be two directions of net magnetic field which is not possible. So, magnetic field lines do not intersect each other.
