From given, we have,

7 square = 49

Let the first positive number be = x

And the second consecutive positive number is = x + 1

x + (x + 1) = 49

2x + 1 = 49

2x = 49 - 1

2x = 48

x = 24

other is (x+1)=24+1

=25

therefore the two consecutive numbers are 24 and 25
