iii) What pressure is the box exerting on the ground?

b) The box is filled with sand, and it now exerts a pressure of 9000 N/m² on the ground. Work out the new total weight of the box filled with sand.

c) The box full of sand is stood on a different side, as shown in the diagram to the right. Say whether the pressure exerted by the box on the ground will be greater than or less than the pressure in part b). Explain why.​
