Q6. An alloy of copper and zinc contains 40% copper and the rest is zinc. Find the weight
of copper and zinc in 25 kg of alloy.

The alloy is of copper and zinc .

If copper if 65% of alloy then zinc is 35% of alloy .

Given , Alloy is of 3.6 kg

weight of zinc =35% of alloy

= 100/35 ×3.6kg

= 100/126 kg

=1.26kg

So , the weight of zinc is 1.26 kg
