I was a soldier in the Kalinga war fighting for King Ashoka. Our king wanted to expand a lot and wanted to defeat the Kalingas who had a big army. After the war a lot of soldiers lied dead in the battle ground. That was the time our King realised about the consequences of war and soon declared himself not to kill any living being. Myself and the other soldiers felt happy after the king's decision.
