The 'Indian desert' us the area from northern Gujarat to the end of Rajasthan. It is the hottest area in india where there is no vegetation. It has been formed due soil erosion and lack of precipitation(rainfall). It is also known as That desert. Bajra is the major crop grown here. This desert has a only one source of water ' The Indra Gandhi Canal. Oasis is the most beautiful place here. Certain vegetations are found near an oasis like, the tree of date. Sand dunes are commonly found here. Canal is the only animal for transportation as camels do not need much of water to drink in comparison to other animals. So camel is called ' the ship of desert.
