Solution:

Speed at deck  = 24 km/hr

Speed kite sail is approximate 25% higher

Hence

approximate speed  the wind blow into a kite sail  = 24 + (25/100)24

= 24 + 24/4

= 24  +  6

= 30 km/hr

approximate speed  the wind blow into a kite sail  =  30 km/hr
