Evaporation plays very important role in water cycle that maintains continuous
water supply on Earth. Water in oceans, rivers, ponds and lakes evaporate using
solar energy. These water vapour stay in the atmosphere and affect humidity.
Usually, areas with high temperature and large bodies of water, such as tropical
islands and swamps, are very humid for this reason. When the humidity is 100%,
the air is saturated with water, so no more water can evaporate.
