Let the parallel sides of a trapezium be 2x and 3x respectively.

Area of trapezium = 125 cm²

According to the question :

Area of trapezium = 1/2

* (sum of || sides ) * h

⇒ Area of trapezium = 1/2

* (2x + 3x) * 10

⇒ 125 = 5 ( 2x + 3x )

⇒ 5x = 125 / 5

⇒ 5x = 25

⇒ x = 25 / 5

⇒ x = 5

Therefore, parallel sides are ;

2x = 2 * 5 = 10 cm

2x = 2 * 5 = 10 cm3x = 3 * 5 = 15 cm
