Q9. A solution contains 60 g of sugar in 480 g of water. Calculate the concentration of solution in terms of mass
by mass percentage of the solution.​

Mass of Solute = 60g

Mass of solvent = 480g

Mass of solution = 60+480=540g

Concentration by mass percentage = Mass by solute by mass of solution ×100

=60 by 540 ×100

=100 by 9

= 11.1%
