Let O be the centre of the circle.
In this ∆ ABC, BP and BQ work as a tangents
then
BP=BQ=2 cm,
also
angle B=90°,
angle P = angle Q = 90°,
(angle made by tangent and radius of the Circle),
hence
we can say they OPBQ is a square,
then
OP=BP=radius=2 cm,
therefore
diameter=2×r=2×2=4cm
