Q9. Steve Jobs passed away in October 2011. Until his death, he had been the heart and soul of Apple’s innovation. Today 115,000 Apple employees continue onward in his absence. A huge question for many investors in whether the company can be successful without him. What do you think? What role did Jobs play? How can Apple respond to his loss? Would you be willing to invest in Apple without his leadership? Why or why not?

Steve Jobs passed away in the October 2011. Until his death, he had been the heart and soul of Apple’s innovation. Today, 35,000 Apple employees continue onward in his absence. A huge question for many investors is whether the company can be successful without him. What is your opinion? What role did he play? How can Apple respond to his loss? Would you be willing to invest in Apple without his leadership? Why or why not?In mine opinion Apple has shown that they can be successful without him, it has been almost 3 years since his death and yet people still continue to buy Apple products like mouths to the flame. Though last time Apple was without Job it took them more than 3 years to fall. Personally I only have one Apple product and it’s an iPod, I do not see thepoint in always buying their new phones because they only seem to add truly one new feature to them. If they continue down this path I belief that people will stop buying the “new” iPhone every 6 months. Instead of the S version of their phones they should just launch a new phone every year that offers a minimum of 3 new features. Apple was successful in the beginning because they didn’t just rush new products out, instead they would wait till it was perfect or near perfect.
