here, x= -1 and y= 5

now putting these values in 3y = ax+7

3(5)=a(-1)+7

15= -a+7

a=7-15

a=8

GIVEN-(-1,5) Lies on the Graph.

So,

x=-1

Y=5.

Now,

Putting the Value of x and Y.

To Find-The Value of "a".

Equation--

3y=ax+7

3(5)=a(-1)+7

15=-a+7

-8=-a

a=8.

The Value of a is 8.
