6. Weeding is the process to remove out the weeds. Weeds are unwanted plants which grown along the useful crops. Weeding is required because weeds are competitive plants as they reduce the useful crop yield by acquiring space, fertilizers and nutrients from the soil.
7. Irrigation is the process of applying water to the crops artificially to fulfil their water requirements.
8. Preparation of soil is the first step before growing of crop. It helps to turn the soil and loosen it to allow the roots to penetrate deep into it.
