The majority of the parents consider schools should stay closed until the covid-19 situation subsides. 37% of parents think that after new cases in the district and in a 20km radius are zero for 21 days, only then should school reopen. 20% think that new cases should become zero all over the country before students start going to school. 16% think new cases should be zero in the state for schools to reopen. 10% consider that after the vaccine is available it is safe for schools to open. 11% believe it should be as per the regular state calendar while 3% are not sure. In another survey where it was asked if schools can operate with social distancing, 39% said it was not at all feasible, 36% said very difficultly while 11% said somewhat difficult. Only 10% said it should be possible and 2% said it should be very easy.
