Answer:

yes

Explanation:

yes every matter can exist at 3 different states namely solid liquid and gaseous state

when the material is cooled up to the freezing point it exists as a solid and when it is heated up to the melting point it exists as water and when it is heated up to the boiling point it exists as a gas

not only in 3 states it exists in two more states

when it is supercooled it exist in Bohr-einstein condensate state and when it is super heated it exists in plasma state

but u asked only about three types so here are the examples for those three types

ex:- solid :- ice , liquid :- water , gas :- watervapour

hope this helps u......

but if u need more info about those two more states of matter then here u go

Plasma :- It is the state of matter where the material is highly heated up

ex :- sun

Bohr Einstein condensate :- it is the state of matter where the material is super cooled

ex:- super fluid helium

Answer:

Every element can exist in the 3 basic states: gas, liquid, solid. It is just a matter of enough freezing and high pressure (to solidify gases, even Helium) or enough heat and low pressure (to vaporize metals, even tungsten). At even higher temperatures the gas can ionize, which can be considered a 4th state of matter.

Some chemical compounds (like water, alcohol, carbon dioxide) can also exist in the 3 basic matter states. But most large molecules simply decompose under higher temperature, so they don't have a boiling point and don't exist as gas. The example is the DNA, various hormones (like insulin), etc.

Your question title contains the word "materials", so I would add that for a general material (which is a mixture of various compounds and elements) the 3 states of matter are also sometimes not achievable. For example wood cannot be in gaseous state, because the structure that makes a wood a wood woud decompose.

wwwsurjitkairbhatia7: Yes
wwwsurjitkairbhatia7: Water is liquid form.
wwwsurjitkairbhatia7: If freezd ,it turns into ice and if boiled it turns in gaseous state
PradyumnChaurasiya: i hope it will helping article for your holiday homework.
DrishtiKundara: ya, thank you
