1) when happens when hydrogen sulphides gas is passed through a blue solution of copper sulphate?

2)give an example of combination reaction?

3) what is decomposition reaction?

.

1) When hydrogen sulphide gas is passed through a blue solution of copper sulphate, a black precipitate of copper sulphide is obtained and the sulphuric acid so formed remains in the solution. In this reaction, cupric ions (from copper sulphate) combine with sulphide ions (from hydrogen sulfide) to form cupric sulphide.

2) A combination reaction is one in which two or more reactants combine to form a single product. Examples: Formation of calcium oxide by the combination elements calcium and oxygen. ... Formation of sulphur trioxide by the combination of sulphur dioxide and oxygen

3) chemical decomposition, or chemical breakdown, is the process or effect of simplifying a single chemical entity into two or more fragments. Chemical decomposition is usually regarded and defined as the exact opposite of chemical synthesis.

hope it helps you
