initial separation between them  = 100 m
speed of approach of them towards each other = 10+15 = 25m/s  
the distance between them reduces at 25 m/s
so separation between them at t = 2 s :  100 m -  2s * 25 m/s = 50 m


Anshul201: is this the only answer?
kvnmurty: if they are separating from each other, ie., Car A is moving East and is already East of car B... Car B is moving away from car A and towards West.. Then the separation at t = 2s will be 100 + 50 = 150 m...
kvnmurty: but in the questions, it is asked when they will meet.... so it means they are approaching each other..
