Ques= a piece of cloth is in the shape of a triangle whose base is 60 m and altitude is 15 m. find the cost of printing a pattern over it at rupees 1.50 per metre sq.

given the base of the triangular piece of cloth = 60m and height is = 15m

we have to find the cost of printing a pattern over it. so first we have to find the area of the cloth.

as the cloth is triangular so we will use the formula for finding the area of triangle that is 1/2 × b × h

area of the triangular cloth = 1/2 × b × h
= 1/2 × 60 × 15
= 30 × 15
= 450m²

hence, cost of printing a pattern over it at rupees 1.50 per m² = 450 × 1.50 = rupees 675
