They encountered a massive storm with strong gales. They also wore oilskins and life jackets, in case things got worse. But by the morning of January 6, Wavewalker had came out of the storm and in a few more hours, they reached Amsterdam joyously.

On January 6, the narrator was taking a short nap. At 6 p.m., Jonathan woke him up and Wanted to hug him “because he was the best daddy in the world, and the best captain” as well. Sue then gave the happy news that they had reached Ile Amsterdam.

Due to the knowledge of the sea in the area and good seamanship of the captain and crew of‘Wavewalker’, the voyagers finally managed to reach the lie Amsterdam.
