Given Tanθ + 4 Cotθ = 4
=> Tan² θ - 4 Tanθ + 4 = 0 as Cotθ = 1/tanθ
=> (Tan θ - 2)² = 0 => Tanθ = 2
(i) tan² θ + Cot² θ
= 2² + 1/2²
= 17/4
(ii) Cosec² θ + Sec² θ
= (Cot² θ + 1) + (tan² θ + 1)
= 1/4 + 1 + 4 + 1
= 25/4
=> Tan² θ - 4 Tanθ + 4 = 0 as Cotθ = 1/tanθ
=> (Tan θ - 2)² = 0 => Tanθ = 2
