Given that the line which makes an angle of 30 degrees from the y-axis.
Then the line makes an angle of 90 + 30 = 120 degrees from the x-axis.
We know that slope = m = tan theta
= tan(120)
= tan(180 - 60)
= - tan 60
= - root 3.
